I am so thankful to have a TV-free household.

Fora while now, we've been without TV by choice; the exorbitantly-pricedcable programming, or satellite TV, was not worth it.
Notonly was most of the 'programming' (apt word, there) worthless, but itwas usually outright offensive or obnoxious, and the advertisingespecially was more and more in-your-face with the multiculturalmessages.

Atbest, TV makes one depressed, because it depicts this utterly alien and(to most of us here) dystopian universe, which it presents as normaland desirable, not to say inevitable.

You will conform

You will resign yourself to a relentlessly uniform 'global village' wherein you will feel alienated and lost.

You will be absorbed into the fake, illusory (and dystopian) world of the media.

You will surrender to this slime

Over the years, technology has influenced the kind of activities we pursue.
Youtubetook over reading, online games replaced outdoor games, and Facebook n Twitter are now more important than real social gatherings!

It'sa common belief among ethnopatriots and ethnonationalists that sheddingour attachment to the media would be the best possible course ofaction. TV, Hollywood, popular music and videos, all have been turnedinto little more than vehicles for propaganda.

Notonly is the Babelist, globalist agenda being rammed down our throats,but there is the pushing of various consumer goods that keeps peoplefixated on toys, gadgets, distractions of various kinds.

Itis this whole package that has people transfixed, blinding them towhat is going on in the wider world, or even right in their local area.

The media counterfeit of reality becomes more real to many people than the actual world around us.

Ifonly we could wean our children in particular from the perniciousmedia, and shield them from the pollution that is TV these days.

What a difference that would make to our society.
Unfortunately,though, just as with pornography, even if we ourselves don't partake ofit, we have to live in a society which is porn-saturated.

We get it second-hand, as it were, and the same is true of TV.
I know a great deal more about TV series that I have never watched than I care to know, but there's no real escape from it.
It's in the air we breathe.

Butusing something like Roku or other means of streaming media content toyour TV enables you to select what you want, and to filter out thegarbage.

Thereis more than just streaming Netflix, Hulu or Amazon videos; there areold movies and old TV shows , material from the Internet Archive,podcasts galore, music of every variety.

There is life without TV. It's possible to enjoy some media via streaming, but in moderation.
There'san addictive quality about TV that is not present when you can 'justsay no' to the TV habit, and tune out the propaganda.

New and Exotic Foods: These mayrequire somepractice to get used to. Remember, your British crewmates have hadtheir entire lives to get accustomed to the flavour. You have a lot ofcatching up to do. Dig in and add an extra helping of that BranstonPickle. Ask your crewmates about that jar of Marmite and they’ll tellyou that many of them have eaten it from a very young age. They mayalso tell you that it’s a brown gooey substance left over from anindustrial process.Fascinating. Repetitive Sauces: Peri peri sauce. Reggae reggae sauce. Ihaven’t yet seen “saucey sauce sauce” but it could be hidden somewherein the galley. Asking for “brown brown sauce” or “mango mango chutneychutney” will only elicit strange looks, however.
Potatoes: Fries are called chips.Chips arecalled crisps. Jacket potatoes are what we call baked potatoes except,um, wearing cute little potato-sized biker jackets, I guess.
Manners. You may hear yourcrewmates ask forthings using lots of extra words. Don’t be intimidated. This is called“being polite”, but being American no one will expect you to learn it.Just remember that “I couldn’t perhaps trouble you for a hot drink,could I?” translates roughly in American English to “Yo! Lemme get acoffee!”
Aluminum vs. Aluminium: Britsdon’t know thatwe spell the word without the extra “I”. Don’t let them know this andinstead insist that we pronounce it differently just to make them mad.Then watch as they get mad. Good clean fun every time.
Buoys: Brits prounounce this“boy” and find our pronunciation of “boo-ey” to be hilarious. Seealuminium. Rinse and repeat.
Clothing: Pants are calledtrousers. Underwear iscalled pants. So saying “wow, my pants sure are dirty” may result inawkward silence. Followed by humiliating laughter.
Shortening words to make them more fun to say.Searching for a breakfast with chocolate biscuits? Do a “recky” on a“brekky” with some “chocky bickies”! If you’re a smoker you might evenenjoy a “ciggy” afterwards. You can actually say these things.
Finally, if you’re a guy and someone accuses you of wearing abig girl’s blouse, well, you can probably guess that it’s not a goodthing. British dudes don’t like wearing big girl’s blouses."

I've witnessed some innocent statements inboth languages that can be rather unfortunate in translation on theother:

1. Can I bum a fag? (English slang request to steal a cigarette fromsomeone)

2. Let's blow off John (US statement to ignore what John has to say)

Generally I've found it difficult to explain why these statements arenot ideal to the person saying them.

I suggest that it's best to stand back and watch the outcome.

As we've come to depend on a handful of commercial varieties of fruits and vegetables, thousands of heirloom varieties have disappeared. It's hard to know exactly how many have been lost over the past century, but a study conducted in 1983 by the Rural Advancement Foundation International gave a clue to the scope of the problem. It compared USDA listings of seed varieties sold by commercial U.S. seed houses in 1903 with those in the U.S. National Seed Storage Laboratory in 1983. The survey, which included 66 crops, found that about 93 percent of the varieties had gone extinct. More up-to-date studies are needed.

Re:The Prime Minister’s Speech at the Munich Security Conference February2011 Concerning the Threat to Western Liberal Democracies by Islam andIslamic-Sponsored Terrorism

Dear Mr Cameron

Iam writing to you in connection with the speech you delivered at theMunich Security Conference last week since its subject matter pertainsnot just to the security of the United Kingdom and other WesternEuropean states but also to the long-term survival of the indigenouspopulation of this country itself: the ultimate security question.

Youbegin your speech by seeking to reassure fellow member NATO states thatdespite the dire condition of the UK economy Britain will continue tomeet the NATO 2% defence-spending target. In general terms that isgood. However, the standard government line notwithstanding – Labour aswell as Tory – Britain is not made safer nor is our national securityenhanced by the presence of NATO troops in Afghanistan. The NATOpresence in Afghanistan has, I believe, more to do with the nuclearambitions of Iran.

Now,you begin your discussion of the terrorist threat in the UK by sayingthat some of these attacks are carried out ‘by our own citizens’ andthat the perpetrators, Muslims, ‘are prepared to blow themselves up andkill their fellow citizens’ (my emphasis). But these Muslim terroristsdo not regard me, us, as ‘their fellow citizens’. Indeed, they arecorrect: I am not one of ‘their fellow citizens’. Nor do I wish to be.Formally these people may have acquired a British passport but in whatway can these people be regarded as ‘our own citizens’ when they livein parallel societies paid for by the white indigenous population andare at best indifferent to, and at worst murderously hostile, to theinterests of the host indigenous population? If I went to live inMunich and started to make demands of indigenous Germans that theyadapt to my folkways, habits and customs and threatened to kill them,would Germans regard me as one of their own? I doubt it.

True,Europe has suffered from terrorism before the arrival of Al Qaeda andits imitators. The key difference is however that groups such as TheAngry Brigade (England) IRA (Northern Ireland), The Red Brigades(Italy), Direct Action (France) and Baader-Meinhof & RAF (WestGermany) were all home-grown groups. People who were active in the IRAbelong to the tribes of the British Isles. Muslims have no such claim.They are alien. Islamic terrorism would not be a problem in the UnitedKingdom had we maintained strict control over our borders and notpermitted the huge influx of immigrants from Pakistan, Sub-SaharanAfrica, the Middle East, Turkey and Somalia. This was and remains adirect consequence of the cult of multiculturalism, a cult thatpreaches the poisonous view that, for example, sub-Saharan Africanshave as much right to live in Britain as the white indigenouspopulation.

Yousay that: ‘Europe needs to wake up to what is happening in our owncountries’. Who exactly needs to wake up? Millions of people throughoutEurope who over the last 40 years have seen their cities turned intoThird World slums, who have witnessed, and suffered from, therelentless influx of immigrants, Muslim or otherwise, who have seentheir institutions – police, armed forces, health services – corruptedby multiculturalism, who have seen their primary and secondary schoolsand universities turned into centres of politically correctindoctrination, where to be white, middle class, heterosexual andChristian is to suffer a constant stream of insults and barelyconcealed hatred, where, on the other hand, to be black or non-white isto enjoy special, protected-species status since non-whites aresupposed to be bearers of some wonderful gift (referred to asdiversity) and a source of great wisdom.

Those of us all over Europeneed no lectures from you Mr Cameron on what has been happening. Ifthey are not exceptionally wealthy and have no choice but to endure thedaily grind of commuting into our large cities or may actually have tolive there, white people are confronted every day of their lives withthe consequences of ‘vibrant multicultural diversity’ and have been fora long time. Take it from me they hate it and where possible they willavoid it all costs (white flight). If they work in the public sectorand have large mortgages they will endure the consequences of the cultin silence, confiding their fears only to a trusted few.

Allover Europe an unaccountable class of political-functionaries hassought to impose the alien cult of multiculturalism on the whiteindigenous populations. Your call that we need to stand up to Muslims -and it is not just Muslims – comes far too late and is, in any case,thoroughly dishonest. The danger to the white indigenous populationposed by mass non-white immigration has been evident for a long timeand politicians of all parties have either encouraged this process ofdispossession or have been too cowardly to speak out in public. When,in his famous speech, Enoch Powell warned of what was to come he wasmocked, derided and abandoned by people like you. The damage done tothe indigenous population, its history, culture and future may now beirreversible. I pray to God that I am wrong; that it is not too late tosave our nation.

Yourattempts to distinguish between Islam as a religion of peace andIslamic terrorism are doomed to failure. Such is the overwhelmingcollectivist ethos of Islam and the complete absence of any respect forthe dissenting individual that Muslims resident in this country who donot take part in acts of terrorism are not going to break ranks withthe extremists.
For Muslims the rule of law, free speech and liberaldemocracy are alien Western abstractions that mean very little. Giventhe choice between the rule of law, free speech and the civil societyand Islam - in any shape or form - Muslims resident in this countrywill support the cause of Islam. There is no love for the British: weare just a source of welfare payments and material provision that wouldbe impossible in Pakistan and Somalia (the reason immigrants come here).

Youstate the following: ‘It is vital that we make the distinction betweenreligion on the one hand, and political ideology on the other. Time andagain people equate the two’. Again, your attempt to separate religionfrom ideology is doomed to failure for the obvious reason that Islam,the ideology-religion, recognises no lay principle: it is all ornothing; it is Islam for the believers; Dhimmitude for the rest.Consequently, whatever action Western governments take to neutralisewhat they believe to be the purely political, ideological aspect ofIslam, will always be interpreted as an attack on Islam as a whole.Indeed, such measures will be an attack on Islam as a whole since Islamdoes not recognise the division between state and civil society; theright of the individual to resist its collectivist ethos (just likecommunism incidentally).

Theother factor that makes Islam a threat to the Christian West is thebirth rate among Islamic immigrants resident in the West. The hugeincrease in the Muslim population throughout the West may well turn outto be the decisive factor that overwhelms the white indigenouspopulation in their ancient lands, reducing them to a suppressedminority. In all the discussions about rising food prices, metals,access to water and productive farm land no one wishes to identify thereal problem: specifically the reckless and unsustainable breeding ofThird World Populations either in the Third World itself or in theThird World estates that Third-Worlders have been allowed to create inthe First World.

Youcite what has happened on the streets of Tunis and Cairo as an exampleof the compatibility of Western values and Islam: ‘hundreds ofthousands of people demanding the universal right to free elections anddemocracy’. Middle-class, English-speaking protesters might well pressthe right buttons when interviewed by some BBC reporter but theunderlying problem of Arab states and Sub-Saharan Africa is massive,out-of-control and unsustainable population growth. This is theMalthusian nightmare writ large and it is being played out all over theThird World.

Egypt’s unemployed will remain unemployed (many of themare unemployable in any case). Hunger and hopelessness will gnaw atthem. The results are predictable. Democracy and civil society arepreposterous and irrelevant abstractions outside of Western Europe andwill not feed people, certainly not in Egypt and Sub-Saharan Africa.Where populations spiral out of control, as they are doing in so manyparts of the world, violence, exacerbated by religious/ideologicalfanaticism, is inevitable.

Concerning multiculturalism in the United Kingdom you state the following:

Underthe doctrine of state multiculturalism, we have encouraged differentcultures to live separate lives, apart from each other and apart fromthe mainstream. We’ve failed to provide a vision of society to whichthey feel they want to belong. We’ve even tolerated these segregatedcommunities behaving in ways that run completely counter to our values.

Forthe avoidance of any doubt your repeated exculpatory use of “we” doesnot include me and, I suspect, millions of other Britons. Your use of‘we’ refers to the last Labour government and the xenophiles who soughtto impose the anti-white racist cult of multiculturalism on theindigenous population.
It is emphatically not the responsibility ofthe indigenous population ‘to provide a vision of a society to whichthey [immigrants] feel they want to belong’. If, according to you, the‘we’ failed to provide this vision, then why did millions of Islamicimmigrants join the first wave who could not find this ‘vision’? Ifthey have no ‘vision of society to which they feel they want to belong’why do they stay? Why not go home to Somalia, Waziristan andSub-Saharan Africa? That these millions of immigrants have no ‘visionof society to which they feel they want to belong’ yet still stay inthe Christian-infidel-infested wasteland of Britain suggests to me thattheir continued presence in Britain has everything to do with thefantastically generous welfare provision they receive (all the wivesincluded) and absolutely nothing at all to do with any lack of ‘visionof society’.

Youhave been reported as saying that multiculturalism has failed. I see noclear statement of that in your speech at all. In fact, you claim thatit is the indigenous population that has driven Muslims into theirparallel societies. That you are still advocating some form of the cultis clear when you argue that ‘instead of encouraging people to liveapart, we need a clear sense of shared national identity that is opento everyone’. National identity by its very nature is exclusive,partial and narrow. A national identity that is ‘open to everyone’ isnot a national identity. National identity is determined by acombination of genetic, racial, cultural, psychological, geographical,linguistic and mental factors, tempered by the blows of history, byshared suffering in war and peace, by humiliation and glory, by thememory of those gone before. How can my English national identity beopen to everyone? The answer is that it cannot. National identity thatis open to everyone ceases to be a national identity; national identitythat is open to everyone is just another way of promotingmulticulturalism without using the m-word. In other words, it is adeceit, a ploy to disarm the critics of multiculturalism who haveinstinctively and rationally apprehended the cult’snational-identity-hating agenda all along. As an Englishman who stillvalues his national identity I have no desire at all to share it withothers.

Do Pakistanis, Indians, Chinese, Japanese and Zulus want toshare their national identity with me? Of course not: and why shouldthey? It is their exclusive property.

Nordo immigrants wish to share their identity with white Europeans. When,in 2008, he addressed a large Turkish audience in Cologne, the TurkishPrime Minister, Reccep Erdogan was quite clear by what he understood onthe question of integration. He told his audience: ‘I understand thesensitivity you show towards the question of assimilation. Nobody canexpect that you tolerate assimilation. Nobody can expect that yousubmit yourself to assimilation. Then assimilation is a crime againsthumanity.’ Erdogan’s vision of how he expects Turks to behave in Europeis just one of a number of reasons why a Muslim non-European state suchas Turkey can have no place at all in the EU.

Youargue that Muslims are attracted to extremism from a sense of notbelonging. Again you claim that this is the failure of ‘the widersociety’. You might like to ask yourself why indigenous Britons - ‘thewider society’ - do not wish to engage with Muslims. Here are some ofthe reasons why indigenous, white Christian (or heathen) Britons wantnothing to do with Islam:

Tuesday 11th September 2001;
Thursday 7thJuly 2005;
suicide-homicide bombers;
sharia;
jihad;
the obscenepractice of female circumcision;
so-called honour killings;
stoningwomen to death;
polygamy, the sexual grooming of white girls;
extremecensorship; hatred of free speech;
welfare parasitism;
mosques;
continuing, active terroristic hatred of white European host societies;
and the cruel murders of Christians in the Middle East (and Turkey).

Iam not convinced that you are serious about combatting the damage doneby multiculturalism. If you are then the following measures should betaken:

(i). inthe interests of clarity and in order to remove any remainingambiguities you shall publicly state that multiculturalism has failedin the United Kingdom and that it shall no longer be promoted aspolicy, above all in education, so that white indigenous children arenot denied their history, culture and national pride to which they areentitled and that where such subjects are taught they are not taught inaway that denigrates the great achievements of Britain across theentire spectrum of human endeavour;

(ii).the government shall acknowledge that the Macpherson Report (1999) hashad a disastrous effect on policing especially in large cities withlarge black populations and shall publicly disown the report’s centralconclusions and recommendations;

(iii).the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 shall be repealed along withall other legislation which aims to stifle free speech under the bannerof preventing ‘hate speech’ and which leads to the persecution of whitecritics of multiculturalism;

(iv).the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), the successor body tothe Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), shall be disbandedimmediately;

(v).the government shall set a limit on the number of immigrants skilled orotherwise, who are permitted to work in this country. The option ofworking in this country implies no right to citizenship;

(vi).the government shall make it clear in a statement that there shall beno amnesty for illegal immigrants currently resident in the UnitedKingdom;

(vii).the government shall issue a personal apology to Mr Ray Honeyford, theformer Bradford headmaster who warned of the dangers ofmulticulturalism in 1982 and who for his honesty and professionaldecency was vilified by xenophile extremists and abandoned;

(viii).with immediate effect the government shall ensure that efficient andrelentless border control and surveillance (entry and departure) shallbe implemented. Such measures will include the explicit use of racialprofiling;

(ix).the government shall take all necessary measures to ensure that illegalimmigrants are hunted down, rounded up and immediately deported. Wherepossible the government shall aggressively seek to recover the costsassociated with the deportation from the illegal immigrants themselves:property, bank accounts, valuable metals (gold, platinum), cars and soon;

(x). thoseemployers who employ illegal immigrants shall be subject to severefinancial penalties and where judged appropriate terms of imprisonment;

(xi).the government shall remove all welfare payments from the hugeunderclass so that the recipients of state benefits are obliged to work(this removes or weakens the incentive from employers to hire illegalimmigrants);

(xii).the government of the United Kingdom shall declare that under nocircumstances will the creation of an independent Islamic/Muslim stateever be permitted within the territory of the United Kingdom;

(xiii).the government of the United Kingdom shall declare that the provisionsof Sharia are incompatible with the legal, political and culturaltraditions of the United Kingdom and that the exercise of Sharia shallnot be permitted within the United Kingdom and that any of judgementsas may be made by Sharia courts shall enjoy no legal or specialcultural status;

(xiv)the government shall initiate an International Church and MosqueComparison Study (ICMCS). The aim of ICMCS shall be to ascertain thestatus of Christian churches, artifacts and believers in all Muslimstates and the degree to which Christians endure persecution andterror. ICMCS will pay very close attention to the status ofChristianity in those states that provide the main Muslim immigrantscurrently resident in the United Kingdom. A key part of ICMCS will beto ascertain whether the number of mosques existing or planned in theUnited Kingdom is too high relative to the number of immigrantsthemselves and whether the number of Christian churches in theimmigrant homelands is too low.

Finally,I challenge the Prime Minister David Cameron MP or a senior member ofthe government to debate multiculturalism and the challenge posed byIslam, immigration and related problems with me on prime time livetelevision. The terms and conditions of any debate (time, format,audience selection; lighting, citing of cameras, among other things)shall be a matter of discussion and formal written agreement betweenEllis, Cameron and the television broadcaster.

This text was inspired by the essay "WhyIs This Not Treason?" by the brave Englishactivist andpatriot Paul Weston and is partly based on comments I left at the blog JewAmong You.

In 2009it was revealed that the ruling LabourParty had purposefully floodedBritain with several million immigrants,without consulting itscitizens, in order to socially engineer a "trulyMulticultural"country. The huge increases in migrants over the previous decade werepartly due to a politically motivated attempt to radically change thecountry and to "rub the Right's nose in diversity," according toAndrewNeather, a former adviser to Prime Minister Tony Blair. He said massimmigration was the result of a deliberate plan, but ministers werereluctant to discuss this for fear that it would alienate the party's"core working class vote."

Lord Glasman [a personal friend of the Labour Party leader] in 2011 statedthat"Labour lied to peopleabout the extent of immigration" and there'sbeen a massive rupture of trust." He admitted that the Labour Partyhadsometimes been actively hostile to the white natives. In particular,they tended to view white working-class voters as "an obstacle toprogress."

To my knowledge, these shocking revelations of a Western governmentvirtually launching a full-front attack to crush its own people have sofar not caused a single word of protest from political leaders or massmedia in any other Western country, although these acts could beconstrued as a policy ofstate-sponsored ethnic cleansing targeting thewhite majority population. In my country's mass media,these publicadmissions from Neather were hardly mentioned at all, althoughjournalists never miss an opportunity to warn against the dangeroustide of "white racism and xenophobia" that is supposedly sweepingtheWestern world today.

I have since come to suspect that the reason for this shameful silenceis that the authorities in all Western countries without exceptionthemselves follow similar, deliberate policies of dispossessingEuropeans and therefore see nothing wrong in what the Britishgovernment did.

Alsoin Britain, immigrant gangs, especially Muslims, of sexualpredators haveexploited and abused hundreds of girls asyoung as 12 ” usually white ” who are plied with drink and drugsandthen raped, abused and degraded. If the girls refused their advancesthey were threatened with hammers or thrown out of cars. Many suchattacks were filmed by the men as "trophies."

In November 2010, a teenage girl from Birmingham,England, was arrested on suspicion of inciting religious hatred afterallegedly burning an English language version of the Koran. In Britain,if Muslims or other immigrant groups rape white girls, the police areoften reluctant to do anything about it because they don't want to beperceived as "racists," but if nativegirls, who are being activelydisplaced and driven out of their homeland by the authorities, doanything that might upset the feelings of Muslim immigrants they getarrested immediately.

In June 2007, then-British Prime Minister Tony Blair, along withChancellor (and PM-in-waiting) Gordon Brown and Conservative Partyleader (also future PM) David Cameron, met Muslim leaders at aconference organized by the Cambridge Inter-Faith Programme. Blairopened by defending Islam as a religion of "moderation andmodernity," announced a government fund to aid teaching of Islam andtotrain imams and designated Islamic studies as "strategicallyimportant"to the British national interest. Timothy Winter, a lecturer in IslamicStudies at the University of Cambridge, said that "The questionfacingBritish society, and society as a whole, is not how we encourageminorities to engage with western countries, but how those countriesdefine themselves as a collage of different religious cultures."

In other words: Britain, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy,Sweden, Ireland, Spain and other Western countries with whitemajorities are no longer nations with a distinct heritage, only randomspaces on the map just waiting to be filled with a "collage ofdifferent cultures."

I could add here that NorthAmerican authorities and mass media are little better than WesternEuropean ones, and sometimes worse. The USA was the first Westerncountry, in 1965, to open its borders to mass immigration from theentire world as a matter of ideological principle. US authorities havebeen promoting similar policies elsewhere in the West ever since. Theconcepts of "white privilege" and "Whiteness Studies" were alsodeveloped in and spread from the USA. In conflicts between nativeEuropeans and non-native colonizers, US authorities have repeatedlyshown that they will go against the interests of native Europeans.

The more I look into the matter, the more I have to wonder whether theUSA today has become the Anti-WhiteEmpire. If we make a list of groupsor institutions that are promoting the dispossession and destruction ofEuropeans it would look something like this, starting from the top down:

The Unites States Government.
The European Union.
The Muslims.
The anti-white Leftists controlling Western academia and mass media.
The anti-white bias and genetic Communism aggressively promoted by Hollywood and the American entertainment industry.

3, 4 and 5are common to the entire Western world. Number 2 is exclusive toEurope, whereas number 1 and 5 are specifically North American, andboth of these affect the rest of the Western world to a verysubstantial degree.

Simple mathematics thus indicates that the USA isat least as much to blame for the now-ongoing ethnic cleansing ofwhites as is the EUSSR.

Europe faces very serious problems, but so does North America, andit'snot immediately clear who is worse off.

Western Europe will probablyburn because of Multiculturalism and mass immigration, but so will theUSA.
If we look at the transition to a non-white majority rather thanIslamization, the USA is further down that line than the worst-affectedareas in Europe, like France or England.

I started out writing about Islam, and I still stand by every statementI have ever made about Islam and Muslims. Yes, the Islamic creed byitself is inherently violent. No, it cannot be reformed, and Islam inany way, shape or form does not belong in the West. Islam,and allthose who practice it, must be totally and physically removed from theentire Western world.

The Chinese are different from us. I don't want my country swamped bythem because that would spell the end of my nation, but at least theydon't have a religion saying that it is a God-given right for them towipe out my culture and massacre my people. Muslims do.
They clearlytop the list of violently hostile peoples who do not belong in Westernlands.

Nevertheless, as much as Iloathe Islam it is merelya secondary infection. It would not be ableto threaten us the way it does now had it not been for the aggressivecultural AIDS breaking down our immune system beforehand.

The realmental virus that is killing the white West today is thepost-Enlightenment construct we call the Idea Nation or PropositionNation.

The two Western countries most historically responsible for developingand spreading this doctrine are the USA and France.
It makes sense thatthese very same countries are also currently at the forefront ofWestern demographic decline.
The Idea Nation concept stipulates thatevery single country, or at least every single Western country, isnothing but a random space on the map, an empty bowl just waiting to befilled with shopping and human rights.

The American proponents of this concept tend to focus more on theformer aspect whereas the French, and the French-inspired organizationknown as European Union, emphasize the latter somewhat more. That isalso the major difference between the two.
The love-hate relationshipbetween the Americans and the French tends to obscure how much theircountries have in common.
In both of them, the country has transformeditself into a MulticulturalDisneyland where the white majority isbeing stripped of its rights, its identity and ultimately perhaps itsvery existence, all with the blessings of the state.
The end result isremarkably similar in both cases:

The dispossession ofwhites and theorganized destruction of European culture.

Since January2010, France has been engaged in a "debate" on nationalidentity which has evolved into an exercise in government-sponsoredpropaganda calculated to remind white Frenchmen that they are nothing.

Minister of Immigration and National Identity Eric Besson in talks on"national identity" chose to debate national identity mainly withmenof North African origin. He stated that "there is only a France wherethe blood is mixed," thereby erasing the existence of a distinctFrenchnation.

For Besson, "Franceis neither a people, nor a language, nor a territory, nor a religion;it is a conglomerate of peoples who want to live together. There is noethnic Frenchman; there is only an ethnically mixed France."

The French novelist Jean Raspail,author of The Camp of the Saints, thinks that thestate has become the enemy of the nation in most Western countries andwarns that "All of Europe marches to its death" because of a sharedfallacy: the Idea Nation. He fears that the ruin of his people by thosewho welcomed or refused to resist the ongoing invasion is nearlyirreversible:

"I am convinced that thefate of France is sealed, because ˜My house istheir house' (Mitterand)", inside ˜Europe whose roots are asmuchMuslimas Christian' (Chirac), because the situation is moving irreversiblytowards the final swing in 2050 which will see French stock amountingto only half the population of the country, the remainder comprisingAfricans, Moors and Asians of all sorts from the inexhaustible reserveof the Third World."

In his essay The Fatherland Betrayed by the Republicfrom 2004, Raspail shows how the Open Borders lobby confuses the Frenchnation, which comprises a distinct ethnic group of European blood, withthe French Republic. France was from the outset a country of commonblood, but in recent years "the Republic, which is only one shape ofgovernment, is synonymous for them with ideology, ideology with acapital '˜I', the major ideology."

The American and French modelsare "different" in the same way as the Bolsheviks and theMenshevikswere "different." Whereas the former argue about the most efficientwayto implement genetic Communism, the latter argued passionately over howto best implement economic Communism. Heated debate between sects overminor ideological differences is a Western specialty that couldsuccessfully be viewed as a secularization of older Christianpractices. This should not, however, obscure how much these varioussects have in common.

The USA and France have both come to define themselves as "universalRepublics" and are currently in the process of committing suicidebecause of this. Virtually the entire political Left as well as the"respectable" establishment Right throughout the Western world havefully accepted the Idea Nation as the ideal and agree on 90-95% of thegoals. The so-called political debate we see on the newspapers and onthe TV screens merely addresses the remaining details of how aMulticultural society should be implemented or what the New Man shouldlook like.

It is an insane ideological beauty contest on how best todismantlethe white West.

For example, there is atransatlantic "debate" of sorts regarding the best manner tointegrateSomali Muslims: How much welfare state gives the best result? Shouldthey learn their own language in school? The continued mass immigrationand colonization of Western lands by alien ethnic groups is alreadyimplied and treated as given. Practically nobody asks whether SomaliMuslims are inherently so different from Europeans culturally and yes,genetically speaking that perhaps they don't belong in Westerncountries at all. Maybe there simply is no Swedish, Dutch, German,Swiss, Italian, British, French, Canadian, American or Australian wayto absorb such alien nations because the mental differences are justtoo great to bridge.

Asking such questions will immediately get you excluded from politesociety if not physically attacked. This is because you challenge thevery basis of the Idea Nation and by extension the foundations of theruling ideology. This will be seen as a betrayal by those who are inpower.

In addition to the USA and theEU, the twin Enlightenment Empires, we also have some junior partnersin this process. Sweden, for instance, with its famous welfare statehas created an international image for itself as a "model nation."As aresult, loyalty is no longer expressed to the Swedish nationas abiological reality, since this has been ideologically abolished andhistorically erased. Instead, loyalty is expected andexpressed to theideals the state is supposed to uphold, in Sweden's case Socialismandanti-white Multiculturalism.

In older times, a "traitor" was someone who betrayed his nation. Inthis context, a nation was a people who saw themselves as a distinctentity and ethnic group, complete with visual symbols like flags.Today, this viewpoint is considered obsolete by the ruling Westernoligarchs, an ancient evil that must be ridiculed and stamped out atall costs, including use of indoctrination in the education system andthe mass media coupled with legal intimidation and professionalharassment of dissenters who dare to adhere to traditional ties ofloyalty.

A person who demonizes his culture and promotes the colonization of hiscountry by other, even openly hostile peoples, is no longer considereda traitor, as he previously would have been. On the contrary, he isapplauded by those in prominent positions in politics, academia and themass media. The person who is treated as a traitor is anyone who showsany signs of loyalty to traditional nations that constitute hatedrivals of enlightened universalism. For this reason, parties such asthe Sweden Democrats have been harassed for years, not because theybetray the people who historically inhabited their country, butprecisely because they don't.

The English traditionalistphilosopher Roger Scruton has noted that "buyingand selling of citizenship, often to people who think of it purely as aright and never as a duty, is common throughout Europe.

The politicalÈlite sees nothing wrong in people collecting passports as they mightcollect memberships of clubs."

He thinks that members of the rulingWestern Elite are immune to xenophobia, the fear and hatred offoreigners, but at the same time suffer from a severe case of whatScruton calls oikophobia, the repudiationand fearof home, the urge to denigrate the customs, culture and institutions ofyour own people. "The oikophobe is, in his own eyes, a defender ofenlightened universalism against local chauvinism. And it is the riseof oikophobia that has led to the growing crisis of legitimacy in thenation states of Europe."

The native peoples ofEurope are now deeply anxious about their future,often with very good reason as their lands are being flooded withoutsiders and they are being turned into strangers in their own cities.When people are in a state of anxiety they may pose a threat, both tothemselves and to those whom they fear. Roger Scruton warns that if theruling Multicultural elites will not discuss these matters and continueto put all blame for the growing tensions on the xenophobia of theindigenous population while ignoring the oikophobia which is a majorcontributing factor, a likely long-term effect of this situation couldbe a popular explosion.

Treason in a nation-state meant disloyalty to the heritage, freedom andcontinued existence of the distinct nation or ethnic group whotraditionally inhabited that country's territory. Treason in anideological state or Idea Nation means disloyalty to the ideals upheldby the state. The practical consequences of these different outlooksare huge. Judged according to the former definition, it is noexaggeration to say that the governments of every single member-stateof the European Union, and indeed all Western countries, commit treasonevery single day.

Is that statement too harsh? Considering the fact that the whitemajority population that has shaped these countries and createdsuccessful societies there is being purposefully displaced by massimmigration sanctioned by the ruling elites, the answer to thatquestion is no. Yet none of these governments have so far been chargedwith treason. Why not? Because the courts, as well as the laws andlegal definitions upheld by the court system, are controlled byGlobalist groups who adhere to the Idea Nation and uphold the latterdefinition of treason.

Europeans have fought, and paid with large amounts of blood, for over1300 years to keep Islam out of the Continent. The European Union isnow actively promoting stronger cultural, economic, legal anddemographic ties between Europe and the Islamic world andis clampingdown on any opposition to this policy among native Europeans as"racismand Islamophobia."

In accordance with traditional values this would have to be consideredone of the greatest betrayals in the history of European civilization,but not a single leading individual associated with these policies hasso far suffered substantial harassment for participating in this. Onthe contrary, in this age of anti-European agitation and Westernself-destruction, treason can make for a lucrative career path with fewif any dangers or negative side-effects attached to it.

The only ones who have to fear for their reputation, freedom and livesin Europe today are not those who want to allow continued colonizationof their Continent but rather those who resist this development, suchas Geert Wilders, who stands trial for defending his nation's freedom.

An alternative view vis-Ã -vis the Idea Nation, and frankly,the onlyone that makes sense in light of human history and biologicalrealities, is that a nation consists of a group of genetically relatedpeople with shared historical experiences, a roughly similar outlookand cultural background as well as emotional ties to their ancestorsand to the land they live on.

As Sam Francis reminded us, "everyreal nation is a country of a common blood. The only nations that claimto be defined by creeds are ” come to think of it ”totalitarianstates. The Soviet Union, a 20th century descendant of the FrenchRevolution, really was a credal nation, and it survived only because itrested on the same Terror that reigned in France. When the common blooddries up and the civilization founded on it withers, all that's leftisthe state."

Unfortunately, this latter line of thinking was discredited by theNazis. After the Second World War, any talk of genetic differences, ofbeing related by blood or of ties to the soil you live on becameassociated with Nazism and therefore seen as evil. Out of the manythings the Nazis destroyed, this was one of the most damaging, butperhaps least appreciated today. I would be tempted to declare theNazis the most anti-white movement that ever existed,considering theincalculable damagethey did to Europeans and people of Europeanorigins.

The main reason why we arethreatened by outside forces today is because of the notion that ourcountries should be glorified shopping centers where anybody should befree to enter as they desire. As long as this situation continues, wewill never be able to defeat our enemies

Our primary enemy is the Proposition Nation, not Islam. The only way torestore sanity to our countries is to restore the concept that acountry is the homeland of a nation of closely related people with ashared heritage. Unfortunately, those who champion the Idea Nationconcept have become so deeply entrenched in positions of powerthroughout the Western world that this struggle has the potential totrigger a pan-Western civil war, or a Multicultural world war.

Where did "Piss Poor" come from?

They used to use urine to tan animal skins, so families used to all pee in a pot
And then once it was full it was taken and sold to the tannery...
if you had to do this to survive you were "Piss Poor".
But worse than that were the really poor folk who couldn't even afford to buy a pot...
They "didn't have a pot to piss in" and were the lowest of the low.
The next time you are washing your hands and complain because the water temperature
Isn't just how you like it, think about how things used to be.
Here are some facts about the 1500s
Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May,
And they still smelled pretty good by June. However, since they were starting to smell,
Brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor.
Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.
Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water.
The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water,
Then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the children.
Last of all the babies.
By then the water was so dirty you could actually lose someone in it.
Hence the saying, "Don't throw the baby out with the Bath water!"
Houses had thatched roofs-thick straw-piled high, with no wood underneath.
It was the only place for animals to get warm, so all the cats and other small animals
(mice, bugs) lived in the roof.
When it rained it became slippery and sometimes the animals would slip and fall off the roof.
Hence the saying, "It's raining cats and dogs."
There was nothing to stop things from falling into the house.
This posed a real problem in the bedroom where bugs and other droppings
Could mess up your nice clean bed.
Hence, a bed with big posts and a sheet hung over the top afforded some protection.
That's how canopy beds came into existence.
The floor was dirt. Only the wealthy had something other than dirt.
Hence the saying, "Dirt poor." The wealthy had slate floors that would get slippery
In the winter when wet, so they spread thresh (straw) on floor to help keep their footing.
As the winter wore on, they added more thresh until, when you opened the door,
It would all start slipping outside. A piece of wood was placed in the entrance-way.
Hence: a thresh hold.
(Getting quite an education, aren't you?)
In those old days, they cooked in the kitchen with a big kettle that always hung over the fire..
Every day they lit the fire and added things to the pot. They ate mostly vegetables
And did not get much meat. They would eat the stew for dinner, leaving leftovers
In the pot to get cold overnight and then start over the next day.
Sometimes stew had food in it that had been there for quite a while.
Hence the rhyme:
“Peas porridge hot, peas porridge cold, peas porridge in the pot nine days old”.
Sometimes they could obtain pork, which made them feel quite special.
When visitors came over, they would hang up their bacon to show off.
It was a sign of wealth that a man could, "bring home the bacon."
They would cut off a little to share with guests
And would all sit around and chew the fat.
Those with money had plates made of pewter.
Food with high acid content caused some of the lead to leach onto the food, causing lead poisoning death.
This happened most often with tomatoes,
so for the next 400 years or so, tomatoes were considered poisonous.
Bread was divided according to status.

Someone would have to sit out in the graveyard all night (the graveyard shift.) to listen for the bell; thus, someone could be,
“saved by the bell” or was "considered a dead ringer”.

The reality is simple; the English can no longer depend on the state for protection of life and livelihood.
I watched in horror as hundreds of decent, mainly white locals stood powerlessly observing their homes and businesses being put to the torch.
No police, no fire brigade, no nationalist vigilantes, no English youth defenders, no resistance of any kind, no hope.

OUR WOMEN AND CHILDREN COULD HAVE BEEN RAPED AND MURDERED AND NO ONE WOULD HAVE LIFTED A FINGER!!

I know the English, unlike us Celts are calm, private and very individual in nature but unless Englishmen stand together to defend their homes and families they will be destroyed.
This violence is a mere taste to what is coming, make no mistake.
This is the end of the beginning, the next phase of our colonisation has now begun and the violence will become much worse in the coming decade.
To the so-called hardcore, 14 word nationalists who boast of what they will do when the race wars starts, I say, grow up and shut up, your kind have done nothing but weakened our cause by your straight arm salutes and by your obnoxious views.
Where were the massed ranks of the shaven headed nationalist ‘defenders’ who march around
England looking for a fight every weekend last night, as the invaders burnt Croydon?
Where were the bomber jacketed loud mouth yob nationalists when our people were jumping out of their burning homes?
As things stand there will be no culture/race/religiouswar in England, it will be a massacre and those in the multi cult areas won’t stand a cat in hells chance of survival never mind silly thoughts of a glorious nationalist victory.
A real nationalist’s first duty is to defend our people and country, we failed. Our young men (you know, the ones that often boast of how patriotic they are, always waving flags and making a lot of noise) did not run away, they couldn’t even get it together to turn up!
This shows just how silly and ineffective the nationalist cause has become in this country.
Nationalism needs men and women of quiet dignity and courage not big mouthed disorganised thugs
or discredited nationalist political parties.
Surely we can all see now that the 'state' cannot or will not protect our homes or our women and children. Nor will the current nationalist groups and parties.
However, since the beginning of time the ultimate responsibility to protect our loved ones and our property has always rested with the individual man of the family.
The idea of a police force (now service) was only ever meant to act as a back up to this universal truth. I say to every British male: the safety of YOUR wife, YOUR children, and YOUR home is YOURS...first
and foremost.
Now you see that the state will indeed allow you to be robbed and burnt out of your home, what now? More white flight...

It is time for defence committees to be formed, not only in the affected areas but in ALL areas of the country, so that assistance can be offered by those more fortunate.
I am not talking about white vigilantes, ABSOLUTELY NOT, but we need ALL decent British citizens
who are patriots to start acting in the way every man in previous generations would have:
Stand together and prepare for the worst but hope for the best.
Last night it was property, indeed the mobs attacked many private dwellings, kicking domestic doors in and entering family homes.
Last night theft was the main impulse, but rape and pillage always go hand in hand.
Ask yourself my English brothers: If a these mobs rampage down your street and kick in your doors, could you ever be a man in your own house again or in the eyes of your children after the mob has left your wives and daughters on the floor, could you look at yourself in the mirror ever again??

Ask yourself, why no looting or serious bother in Asian areas or some other places?
I shall tell you why.
This
was because hundreds of Asian men (and Turks and Lebanese) took the personal safety of their loved ones, businesses and homes into their own hands, the BBC will not show you, but last night hundreds of men were out on the streets of their districts prepared to fight ANYONE who
would threaten what is theirs.

We may all be modern sophisticated urban dwelling men these days, but our main duty and function in life is to provide for, and to defend our women and children, that is the very essence of being
a man.
This is the way it has always been down through the mists of time, but If we fail to honour this sacred duty, we are not men at all and are due no respect from our families and deserve everything that
befalls us.
Having a few other anatomical parts does not make one a man, it’s what we do, how we act and how we protect those who look to us for care and safety, that’s what makes a man.
It may be 2011 but nature has some immutable truths that do indeed transcend our notions of civilisation and modernity.
Our country was formed and held together by men who were prepared to stand and fight despite the odds, men who would not bow down to aggressors regardless of the cost and men who would take any action necessary in order to defend their wives and children.
I refuse to believe that Englishmen have changed so much since Dunkirk, but something is not right within the ranks of our gender.

WE HAVE LOST OUR WAY MY BRETHREN!

A lot of the areas attacked last night were white (many foreign whites also) the very areas prospering from the middle class ‘white flight’ phenomenon.
The same areas where the posh white ‘free trade’ junkies and liberal fools boast about being so
wonderfully ‘multi-cultural and diverse’.
This is their wake up call.
To hell with Cameron’s ridiculous idea of “Hug a Hoodie”, our police should have shot the hoodies like the vermin they are.
To see hundreds, yes hundreds of English men stand around like dumbstruck pacifists while mobs of mainly black youths robbed them blind and destroyed their family homes made me very angry.
Angry at the criminals, and even more angry and ashamed of my gender and race for meekly accepting it.
I am no armchair warrior prevaricating from a safe distance as so many other nationalists often like to do.
I have lived in the worst trouble spots of Belfast; I have had high powered machine gun fire tear bricks from my house and have been injured by grenade attack.
I understand the pain and ultimate futility of human conflict but when necessary I and the rest of my community have often rallied round and stood our ground together.
Frightened, unsure and at times absolutely terrified,but still the men of our district (and from other areas) were all united in one common goal: to defend our area, our families and local businesses from attack and harm.
Sometimes we had to defend our homes from the traditional enemy, other times from the forces of the state, the police and army.

We are the people, the streets are ours not the states' and we the people need to defend what is ours from all attackers no matter what the price and no matter from which quarter the
threat comes from.
I have witnessed many of my friends giving their lives in defence of their community, only a few years ago I watched as a young patriot, still in his teens was killed just a few feet away from me as he tried to prevent a large scale invasion of his district by Marxist thugs and bigots.
He gave his life but not one house was torched that night in his area.
One brave lad stopped several hundred rioting invaders from burning his mum’s house.
May his soul rest in peace and may we learn from such selfless acts of sacrifice.
This is what real British patriots are capable of when we set our mind to it.
Our society is breaking down, what we have just witnessed is only a miniscule insight to the civil war that is surely coming, (there, it has been said).
Englishmen need to decide, do you keep moving away from the invaders (white flight) and live in temporary safety for a few more years while those kinsmen you left behind are burnt and beaten out of house and home?
Or, do you start to prepare to defend your loved ones, homes and nation?
Nobody will do this for you, the police wont, and as sure as hell the state wont.
Your children and grandchildren will survive or perish depending on what action you take now.

While British citizens fleeing from burning buildings and our major cities are engulfed in lawlessness the so-called big boys of nationalism can only offer our beleaguered people the opportunity to donate £3 to their leaky coffers !
What an utter disgrace and shameful stunt that should now convince even the most loyal of what the real motivation of the party leaders is these days.
Other nationalists say we need a more moderate, tolerant and inclusive form of nationalism if we are to survive.
English national politics being suggested as the way ahead.
I too say we need to drop the cranks, Nazis and thuggish racist elements that hide under
the banner of nationalism.
But where I differ is : I believe we need to build a stronger and more polarized form of nationalism.
Polarizing not the races in particular, but between those who are all mouth and rosettes, and those who wish to commit to a long term strategy for our peoples survival, movement based on merit, decency, integrity and gravity of both thought and endeavour.
A respectful but very earnest movement, one that values personal responsibility, probity and courage, nothing less could ever or will ever be able to withstand the future onslaughts.
I understand if some (hopefully men) find this article insulting or accusing..
Good it is meant to be so, because unless we come to the personal place in our souls as individual men as to what we want and what we are prepared to do/suffer/endure/fight to save this country, all may well be lost by our generation!
What will you do to secure OUR children’s future?
If the answer is more white flight or running off to Wales, Cornwall, Scotland or Ireland to hide with the
old ‘I am all right jack, stuff the rest’ attitude then fine, our country is lost to the invaders.
In fact, they deserve it as they, unlike you, are prepared to fight for its ownership.
To those with such an attitude I say: ‘a thousand curses on you, I loathe and detest your kind
and I pity the wife and children who have such a coward as a father and
husband’ the shame such ‘men’ bring on our nation their families and our ancestors is truly tragic and
unforgivable.
To such type of ‘men’ we must turn our backs forever on them.
However, my hope is that this article will seek out those men who know deep in their hearts what must be done and who realise that the future of their children and this nation lies within their hands, not the state apparatus.
To those brave Englishmen I say ‘welcome brother, let’s get to work’.
Dear friends, we have a long and arduous journey before us and very little time, the scenes of violence last night will soon escalate from economic riot to bloody racial/ cultural pogroms of mass murder in the next few years.
Consider this: If you have had a baby born into your family this year you can be certain that riot, death and destruction will be the life that this dear child will grow up into.
So let us get serious about our survival NOW!
Are we to continue to fool ourselves by thinking that by ‘Nationalists’ gaining a council seat or two or
even a seat in the EU, our wives and daughters will be safe?

Unless we have a root and branch change in our NATIONALIST mindset and attitude to the defence of this country and our loved ones, then I am afraid our grandchildren will curse our very memory as those
who could have acted to save them from the horrors they will be suffering but chose to do little or nothing.
Do you wish future generations to be ashamed of you? I do not and will not allow the
charge of inaction or cowardice ever to be laid at my feet.
This is my greatest fear.
Young Englishmen need to look in the mirror and examine their consciences.
In years to come, when God willing, your surviving grandson climbs up on your knee and looks deeply into your failing eyes and asks : “Granddad, what did you do in the war?” will you be able to answer the
lad without shame or regret, will you?
People often ask me ‘what motivates you Jim’, well now you know. If I can look into my little grandson’s eyes and say honestly “I never gave an inch of this country’s sacred soil,
I fought for every blade of grass and hill” then I will be content to meet my maker with a sound conscience and glad heart.
It is time for British men to make a stand, time to leave the public house patriots and web warriors behind. The struggle began many years ago but only a few lone voices were heard; now even the blind must see what is coming.
Many of us still remain in safe areas, some do not.
Old selfish attitudes need to change.
An Englishman’s home is NOT his castle; ENGLAND is his castle, every last inch of it! If one of US
bleeds we all bleed, if one of US falls, we all fall.
Unity is strength and it is time we learnt to love our fellow patriots and kinsfolk with a ferocious passion. It is only when we collectively feel and suffer together will we find the courage to defend each other.
It will be love NOT hate that compels us to rush to the defence of our fellow countrymen in dangerous times.
The flames of London also set this Ulsterman on fire.
Loving ones country is good, loving ones flag is also good but loving one’s own people is what makes ordinary people do extraordinary things in life.
I do not preach hatred; nationalism has too many angry people who have rendered themselves inactive by their twisted and inwardly destructive hate.
I put forward love as our weapon of national salvation!
Real love for our country and our people, the kind of love that prepares, organises and incites us all to stand as one people, one nation, TOGETHER!
The kind of love that says: “attack one of us, deal with us all”, the kind of love that makes a man willing to lay down his life for his neighbour.
There is nothing soft about such love; it is the type of purified love that put the ‘hearts of oak’ in previous generations of English heroes.
If our generation act like victims, we will be victims.
We British were respected by the world for our individual courage and our sense of oneness against a common enemy.
Even Napoleon commented on this fine English trait, a trait deeply rooted in a burning love for ones country not in the hatred of the enemy regardless of who we were fighting.
Hate destroys everything including the host but love conquers all.
When the men of England discover a true and pure love for their nation and people they will rise up that same day, but until we purge our hearts from the curse of individualism, selfishness and fear we will continue to see the invading mobs steal our goods burn our homes and chase us and our families to the four corners of this kingdom.
It is time to stop running brothers; it is time for our love of this nation and our people to kindle in us all a righteous anger and solid determination to say: THIS FAR AND NO FURTHER!
My friends and much maligned fellow patriots, we all know by now this county is in trouble, serious trouble,
It is time to “TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK”!

John Onyenaychi jailed for police stabbings in Ealing

John Onyenaychi has a history of violence

A man has been jailed for a minimum of 25 years for the attempted murder of two police officers in west London.

John Onyenaychi cut PC Paul Madden's throat and slashed at community support officer Piotr Dolata in Ealing.

The Old Bailey heard the attack was the culmination of a five-day crime spree by the 30-year-old last December.

Onyenaychi, of Wise Road, Stratford, east London, was found guilty of two counts of attempted murder and of attacking a third officer.

As well as the attempted murder charges, Onyenaychi - who received a life sentence - was convicted of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.

The court heard the defendant cut PC Madden's throat as people watched and then lashed out with his knife at other officers who tried to restrain him.

PC Madden's life was saved by retired heart surgeon Samad Tadjkarimi who happened to pass the scene as he was Christmas shopping.

Mr Tadjkarimi, who had retired from Harefield Hospital three weeks earlier, told the court he had seen the officer lying on the ground with "lots of dark blood on the right side of his neck".

"I turned my attention to him immediately and I compressed his neck, holding it," he said.

"It's my duty, I guess. I'm sure anyone in my profession would do the same.

"It's very humbling that my intervention perhaps contributed to the outcome of possibly saving his life - a very brave young officer."

On licence

PC Madden, 23, received emergency surgery for injuries to his neck, throat and face. He was left with permanent scarring.

PCSO Dolata, 27, needed 12 stitches to his head.

The Recorder of London, Judge Peter Beaumont, said Onyenaychi had not shown any remorse.

He added: "He used a knife on the face and neck of a police officer who was doing his job.

"Paul Madden would have died within two to three minutes, such was the loss of his blood, without the help he received from the passing retired doctor."

The jury heard that minutes before the attack, Onyenaychi had become agitated when challenged about his ticket on a bus in New Broadway.

Support officers called to the scene recognised him as a man who was wanted for a previous attack.

PC Madden, who thought Onyenaychi might be armed, was stabbed as he tried to arrest him.

The trial heard the defendant was on licence at the time, having been jailed for two years for causing death by dangerous driving while under the influence of drugs.

While in jail, he attacked a prison officer, using a pencil as a homemade weapon, and committed other violent offences.

He had also stolen a laptop in Fulham, west London, six days before the stabbings in Ealing.

Onyenaychi threatened to murder the computer's owner, telling him "I do this for a living", the court heard.

Det Ch Insp John McFarlane said: "He is one of the most dangerous men in Britain."

He refused to come out of his cell throughout his trial.

Service, I've worked hard since I was 17. Except for some some serious
health challenges, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn't call in sick in nearly
40 years. I made a reasonable salary, but I didn't inherit my job or my
income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, it looks as
though retirement was a bad idea, and I'm tired. Very tired.

I'm tired of being told that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who
don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being told the government will take
the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy
to earn it.

I'm tired of being told that Islam is a "Religion of Peace," when every day I
can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and
daughters for their family "honor"; of Muslims rioting over some slight
offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren't
"believers"; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning
teenage rape victims to death for "adultery"; of Muslims mutilating the
genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur'an and
Shari'a law tells them to.

I'm tired of being told that out of "tolerance for other cultures" we must let
Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries use our oil money to fund mosques
and madrassa Islamic schools to preach hate in Australia , New Zealand ,
UK, America and Canada , while no one from these countries are allowed to
fund a church, synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia or any other
Arab country to teach love and tolerance..

I'm tired of being told I must lower my living standard to fight global
warming, which no one is allowed to debate.

I'm tired of being told that drug addicts have a disease, and I must help
support and treat them, and pay for the damage they do. Did a giant germ
rush out of a dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up their noses
or stick a needle in their arm while they tried to fight it off?

I'm tired of hearing wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians of all
parties talking about innocent mistakes, stupid mistakes or youthful
mistakes, when we all know they think their only mistake was getting
caught. I'm tired of people with a sense of entitlement, rich or poor.

I'm really tired of people who don't take responsibility for their lives and
actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the government, or discrimination
or big-whatever for their problems.

I'm also tired and fed up with seeing young men and women in their teens and
early 20's be-deck them selves in tattoos and face studs, thereby making
themselves un-employable and claiming money from the Government.

Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to be 76.. Because, mostly, I'm not
going to have to see the world these people are making. I'm just sorry for
my granddaughter and her children.   Thank God I'm on the way out and not
on the way in.

After a brief respite, fuel costs will start rising again next year as demand from the fast-growing economies of Asia triggers a boom in oil markets.
Motorists were warned last night to prepare for four years of soaring costs at the petrol pumps, with the price of a full tank expected to top £100.
This will push the price of a litre of unleaded petrol from an average of 134.8p now to 154p by the end of 2015, according to forecasters at the Ernst & Young ITEM Club.

The cost of filling the 70-litre tank of a Ford Mondeo will spiral from £94.36 to £107.80.
ITEM Club economist Neil Blake said: ‘By 2013 prices at the pumps will be eating into household finances once again. Demand from the emerging markets will maintain the pressure on inflation, as will the increase in fuel duty on the home front.’

There will be a measure of relief for car owners in the coming months as rampant energy inflation recedes, according to Mr Blake.

But they are facing a double hit next year as the Government slaps two duty increases on petrol.

Chancellor George Osborne will introduce a deferred annual increase of 3p a litre in January and is likely to follow that up with another rise in August.

Last night Mr Osborne was urged to rethink his planned hit on struggling motorists, who are already facing steep rises in their insurance premiums.

AA spokesman Andrew Howard said: ‘Our primary concern is whether the Government chooses to defer the January duty hike. They have done that in the past when prices have been high and we hope they do it again.’

A steep rise in energy and petrol prices will intensify the squeeze on households at a time when average pay rises are lagging behind inflation.

Although the surge in food prices will continue to decline next year, it won’t cushion the blow for long, according to the ITEM Club.

Mr Blake said: ‘The good news is that food, oil and petrol prices will all start to come down next year, providing some much-needed relief for the hard-pressed consumer.

‘However, the five-year outlook is far less rosy as inflationary pressures begin to bite once again and this will be compounded by weak wage growth.’

With little prospect for a fall in unemployment levels, workers will have ‘limited bargaining power’ during annual wage negotiations.

Mr Blake said: ‘Consumers need to enjoy next year’s respite as much as they can.’

The non-white British population of England and Wales has grown from 6.6 million in 2001 to 9.1 million in 2009 – nearly one in six of the population.

There are now almost a million mixed-race people in the two countries.

The white British population has stayed the same since 2001; there has been an increase in births, but there has also been a similar number of people migrating.

The non-white British population has grown by 4.1% a year, adding up to 37.4% growth – 2.5 million – over the whole period. The only group to shrink is the white Irish population – down from 646,600 in 2001 to 574,200, due to falling birthrates and migration.

The mixed-race population is up nearly 50% to almost a million for the first time – up from 672,000 in 2001 to 986,600 in 2009. A third are mixed African-Caribbean and white, followed by Asian/white. The ONS said this was not a result of increasing birthrates but because "the population is mixing up more". Haringey, north London, has the highest proportion, at 4.4%.

In 225 local authority areas, more than 90% of the local population is white. That figure is highest in Wales and north-east England. The whitest borough is Blaenau Gwent in Wales, where 96.5% of the population is white British, followed by Copeland in Cumbria, where 96.3% of the population is white.

Brent, in north London, is the most ethnically diverse borough. Just over a third of its population counts as white British, with large mixed-race, Asian, black and Irish communities making up the rest. "Community cohesion is a priority," said Brent council leader Ann John, "As a result, Brent is a vibrant place to live and work, a beacon to the rest of the world."

But some groups expressed fears about the "changing face of Britain". Sir Andrew Green, of MigrationWatch UK, said: "If immigration continues at this rate, our population will hit 70 million within 20 years and immigrants will account for half of new households. We are already feeling the pressures on maternity units and schools.

This rise is part of Labour's legacy. Whether they meant to or not, they changed the face of Britain forever."

The figures, published for the third year running, are based by the ONS on fertility rates and death rates, and migration around the country and abroad.

Greece arose.
When Classical Greece fell,
Rome arose.
When Rome fell, the European states arose.

Then the New World was opened, and North America, Australia, and New Zealand were added as white heartlands.

Now, however, these are all threatened by mass Third World immigration.

There are no more new territories or lands to be opened.
It is the final call for white Western civilization.

Can the West survive? The simple answer is yes, provided some basic steps are taken.

1. First and foremost, white people must have more children.
All other political activity is meaningless without this fundamental building block.
History, politics, and human affairs are the product of demography.
A failure to breed is punished by Nature with extinction.

2. Political activity must be directed at awakening as many white European people as possible to the reality of race and its underpinning of world events.

3. This political activity must always be done in the idiom of the time.
All attempts at political necrophilia (which seek to recreate certain past time periods, such as the Ku Klux Klan/Confederacy or National Socialist Germany) are doomed to failure.
The era of “white supremacy” is gone, and all attempts to recreate it are foolish.
The white race will live or die in the twenty-first century, and not in the centuries gone by.

4. This political activity must always be directed in reasonable, moderate,
and socially acceptable language, terms, and presentation.
There is, after all, nothing wrong with demanding the same rights which are accorded to all Third World nations (freedom from colonization and the right to self-determination) for First World nations.
It is, in fact, entirely reasonable and normal.

5. This political activity must not be restricted to “only” publishing the odd book, website, or journal.
It is a non sequitur to argue that there “are no politicians who support the interests of white people” when the people who make that complaint are not involved in practical politics.
Of course there will be no pro-white politicians if all the politically-aware people who are pro-white, do not campaign and stand for office.

6. Political realism must be the watchword for all activists.
Too many enter politics with false expectations of instant victory, and burn out when the expected glory does not materialize.
Activists must be aware that the racial worldview goes against nearly a century of leftist indoctrination.
The mass media is, for the greatest part, completely hostile
and
in the hands of those who applaud the racial destruction of the West.

It is no easy ride, and victories on a pro-white political platform are, simply put, the hardest-to-achieve objectives which any activist will experience.

7. Fortunately, it is not necessary to win outright.
All that is needed is for a significant minority of Western people to be awakened to the racial realities.
The biggest threat to the future existence of the white race does not come from other racial groups, but rather from the sway which white liberals hold over society.
All other races and groups do what they do because the ruling white liberal elite allows it.
And therein lies the rub; the nature of modern liberalism is suicidal.
Liberals will, given enough time, destroy themselves.
They will stop having children; they will miscegenate, and they will then cease to exist.

As long as pro-white political activists have had sufficient children and engaged in sensible, reasonable political activity, their political views will be unopposed among the surviving white community.

Those who might argue that the racially-conscious surviving numbers will be too small too matter, should be aware that the founding European population in Upper Paleolithic times was no more than a few hundred thousand at most.

There are already more people than that—millions, in fact—who have voted for pro-white or anti-immigration parties in Europe.
There is no cause for pessimism about numbers.

8. Finally, the surviving white communities will have to be realistic about their geographic circumstances.
It is no good to be a racially-conscious minority in a sea of hostile nonwhites,
as the Afrikaners in South Africa discovered to their cost.

As such, serious consideration will have to be given to white geographic consolidation
once the time comes.

In this regard, Eastern Europe and “white Russia” are likely to play a decisive role in providing a homeland in which white people from around the world will be able to reform, regroup and survive—and hopefully learn from the lessons of history.

YOU do not make your neighbourhood a better place by burning down your neighbour’s home.

You can’t scream about social justice when what you would really like is a free high definition TV.

You do not make this country a better place by terrorising ordinary men, women and children, or by setting fire to their streets, or by destroying businesses that have served communities and provided jobs for over a hundred years. The riots have no moral authority.

Those involved – or their apologists – can bleat that it is about unemployment, or police violence, or the cuts in public services.

But that is all rubbish.

The people who are out on our streets robbing, burning, looting, throwing bottles and putting people of the minimum wage out of a job are self-pitying scumbags.

There is no justification for what they do. This is beyond all politics – and beyond all special pleading.

The people who are the very backbone of this country – the folk who work hard, who always do their best for their families – are the ones who suffer.

They run for their lives. They see what they have worked for burned down by jeering mobs. They lose their businesses, their homes. It might not look like much to the outside world, but it is everything they have worked for – gone in a night of stomach-churning, mindless violence.

It is so hard to build something.

It is so easy to smash something up.

But even as the rioters post their triumphant pictures of booty and mayhem on the social networking sites, they are building the next generation of ghettos.

Do they imagine that the shops and stores which they pillage and smash will be coming back soon?

And I feel desperately sorry for all the hardworking black people in this country.

Those images of black youths looting and pillaging will not soon fade from the national consciousness. They have set race relations back in this country by 30 years.

It is sad beyond belief – nothing less than a national tragedy.

Not merely because firemen and policemen have had to stand back and let the rioters have their way.

Not because so many innocent families have watched all they love get smashed to pieces.

But because of what these riots say about the rioters themselves.

I know they whine about unemployment and a lack of opportunity – but why would anyone want to employ these witless morons? Who would want to give them a job? And what job could they possibly do?

They are lost forever. The 14-year-old in his pair of looted trainers should make the most of them – he will be wearing them when he is 40.

In these riots everything that ails us comes together in a perfect storm. Schools where education is despised. Illiterate, swaggering thugs who have sucked up benefits like their mother’s milk.

And a gang culture that is a corrosive substitute for families that were broken before they were ever really made.

One government tip – as Cameron put down his semi-skimmed latte in Tuscany and hurried home – was that parents should know where their children are.

What a bitter irony – because of course, many of those masked thugs would have had absolutely no idea where their fathers were.

And in their pathetic swaggering, we see the very limits of society’s attempts to be understanding, to be soft, to be compassionate.

In the end – softened up with their human rights, pampered with a benefits system that was meant to protect the vulnerable – we get this shabby shower.

We have produced a generation that is good for nothing but, paradoxically, is afraid of nothing.

How shameful to watch images of policemen who appear afraid to strike out in case they get dragged before some human rights tribunal.

How hard to watch firemen who can’t put out a blazing business, or home, because goons are pelting them with bottles.

How it breaks the heart to see the very best of us – the quiet families who go to work, the small shopkeeper who serves some poor working class community, the family with the business that was started generations ago – tormented and tortured by the mob.

And for all their looted booty, for all the HD TVs and trainers, the mob have nothing. No family beyond the gang. No home that they have built with their hands. No job that gives them pride and a sense of worth and a few quid to save up for the things they want.

The rioters are not made of the same stuff as the quiet, decent families they have terrorised and robbed and burned from their homes. They are not made of the same stuff – and they know it.

Yet inside the heart of every single one of those rioters, there beats a certain warped pride.

Perhaps for the very first time in their lives, they can forget that they are worthless.

These riots are a crime against all the people who live their lives with quiet decency.

They are a crime against the working class of this country.

Because whatever those rioters truly are, they have done nothing to deserve being called the “working class”.

As the traffic fades into history, in the wake of the fuel hikes, the bus queues are getting longer.

No longer, can anyone expect to get out of the rain in the bus shelter but the lines trail off down the street.

Yesterday, it was raining heavily and the school children waiting for the bus were being totally drenched.

No one had a raincoat or umbrella.

McDonald's has defended its decision to refuse to serve a couple in a horse and carriage at a drive-through restaurant.

The firm said it could only serve certain types of vehicles for health and safety reasons.

Debbie Murden, 42, from Pinxton in Derbyshire, said she was surprised to be turned away from the Alfreton branch as she had used it before.

McDonald's apologised for any confusion, adding that its policy would be reiterated to employees.

Ms Murden said she was allowed to use the drive-through at a nearby chicken restaurant without any problems.

'Safety a priority'

She tried to use her two-wheeled carriage at McDonald's at the weekend, just days after buying food from the same outlet in the carriage.

"They said it was dangerous," she said. "I'm not sure who they meant it was dangerous for, them or us or other people in the drive-through. But there was no danger there.

"I got in touch with McDonald's head office and asked why, if horses and motorbikes are not allowed through, are there no signs to say so? And why is it different from branch to branch?"

A McDonald's spokesperson said: "We're sorry to have disappointed Ms Debbie Murden and for any confusion caused.

"The health and safety of our customers is our top priority and for this reason we are unable to serve customers in a horse-drawn carriage.

I am strongly inclined to yell - STAND AND DELIVER YE VARLET!

"We will ensure this policy is reiterated to our employees so any inconsistency is avoided."

Sailor, 85, crosses Atlantic
on raft with friends

An 85-year-old British sailor who dreamed of crossing the Atlantic on a raft as a young boy has completed the journey in 66 days with three friends.
The 2,800-mile crossing to this Caribbean island, led by Anthony Smith of London, took about two months and was generally smooth except for damage to two rudders on the large, sail-powered raft.
"Some people say it was mad," he told The Associated Press when he arrived in St. Maarten Wednesday. "But it wasn't mad. What else do you do when you get on in years?"
The jovial crew said they wanted to raise awareness about the environment and to prove the elderly are capable of embarking on adventures that are mistakenly considered dangerous.
They also aimed to raise money for the British nonprofit group WaterAid, which provides potable water to impoverished communities.

The crew of the An-Tiki included John Russell, David Hildred, captain Anthony Smith and Andrew Bainbridge.
A stroke of bad luck paid for the trip, courtesy of Smith, who was hit by a van and broke his hip.
"I got some compensation money," he said. "So what do you blow the compensation money on? You blow it on a raft."

The crew departed from the Canary Islands after bad weather delayed their trip for about a month.
Fresh bread

Smith delivered a farewell speech — in nearly impeccable Spanish — to a crowd gathered on the dock and then waved goodbye.
The raft, named "An-Tiki" after Thor Heyerdahl's famous Kon-Tiki raft, was loaded with food including oranges, avocados, potatoes, cabbages and a pumpkin. Once the store-bought bread was consumed, sailing master David Hildred began making it from scratch in a small oven.
Hildred, a civil engineer who lives in the British Virgin Islands, also was summoned to help fix the rudders that broke three days into the trip.
The raft was built with four water supply pipes nearly 40 feet long, and 14 cross pipes.
Seven pipes held the crew's fresh water supply.

"Water strikes at the very heart of need," Smith told the U.K.'s Press Association news agency. "To voyage almost 3,000 miles upon the salty kind makes us intensely aware of places in the world that are without adequate supplies."
The raft also had a nearly 40-foot long mast and a 400-square-foot sail. Twin rudders provided the steering, along with centerboards and two oars.
The raft traveled at an average speed of 4 knots, with the crew taking turns to keep watch when they were not reading or playing cards.
"I think all of us enjoyed our night watches when it was just oneself for company," Smith said. "Not an awful lot to see, but it was great."
'Mutiny'

A whale played alongside the raft one day, and a school of mahi-mahi followed the raft almost the entire journey, said crew member John Russell, 61, of Britain.
"The wildlife was just fantastic," he said. "There is nothing to be scared of. We were all old men."
Halfway across the Atlantic, Smith celebrated his 85th birthday with a chocolate cake that his doctor, Andrew Bainbridge, cooked on board.
The crew intended to end their trip in the Bahamas, but strong winds and currents forced them to the Dutch Caribbean island of St. Maarten.
"Yes, of course it's a success," Smith said with a smile. "How many people do you know who have rafted across the Atlantic? ... The word mutiny was only spoken about two or three times a day."

It was the end of an epic journey. In a picturesque harbour on the Caribbean island of St Maarten, Anthony Smith stood on his raft, graciously accepting congratulations from a crowd of well-wishers on the quayside.
The crowd seemed fascinated by two things in particular: first, Mr Smith, the British captain, and his three-strong British crew, had sailed the raft Antiki – described as "a tin can on a wooden plate" – 2,600 miles across the Atlantic with a single sail and no engine.
Secondly, Mr Smith is 85 and, after being hit by a reversing van in 2008, walks only with the help of sticks.
"Wow! You sailed across the ocean in that," said one wide-eyed 11-year-old boy, taking in the eccentric vessel. "You're much older than my grandad and he never even goes out."
Back on land for the first time in 66 days, Mr Smith, tall, thin and silver-bearded, said he was happy to have completed the crossing, happy to be alive.

The four men – a 56-year-old doctor, 61-year-old lawyer, 57-year-old engineer and Mr Smith – a writer, adventurer and much more - had sailed from the Canary Islands to St Maarten after spending three months building the raft.
The crew, all with beards and many pounds lighter than when they set out, looked tired but surprisingly well.
On Wednesday night, after their triumphant entry into the harbour at Simpson Bay, they tucked into their first steak and chips – a cheese omelette for Mr Smith – for nearly 10 weeks and savoured every morsel.
Two of them, David Hildred, the engineer, and Andy Bainbridge, the doctor, were reunited with their wives, Trish and Beryl, who had flown down, from the British Virgin Isles and Canada respectively, to meet their husbands when they arrived. They hugged and kissed like teenage lovers.
Mr Smith and his team had completed their extraordinary journey. But why on earth did he want to take on such a challenge at an age when most of his contemporaries are content to potter about in the garden?
"That's just it," he says, relaxing in the bar of the yacht club. "I don't want to potter. I'm fed up with all that. I don't want the most interesting things in my life to be Sainsbury's on Tuesday, the church roof fund on Wednesday and bridge on Thursday.
"People said I was mad to do it at my age. But age is irrelevant. They said if I wanted adventure I should take a bus to Istanbul. But I can't walk and I don't have to walk on a raft and I have handles to hold when I want to move around. That's easier than getting on and off a bus."
It was a modest analysis. What about the sheer scale of the challenge, floating on a 43ft by 20ft raft on the vast, intimidating, unpredictable, dangerous Atlantic Ocean?
"The raft is more stable and buoyant than most yachts and less likely to capsize," he replies. "Our beakers didn't topple over like they would on a yacht.
"Our books stayed on the shelves. We had harnesses and although we got drenched when the waves came over the side I don't think our lives were ever in danger."
There were, however, "a few scary moments", he admitted. The two rudders broke on the third day, there were heavy squalls, and the raft was blown back towards the east three times.
The delays, and the crew's time constraints, forced them to change their original plan to sail to the Bahamas and head instead to St Maarten.
Mr Smith, who celebrated his 85th birthday on the raft on March 30, is a twice-divorced father of two who lives in Acton, west London; and he is no stranger to adventure.
In his long and busy life he has flown a gas balloon over East Africa and the Swiss Alps, made the first British gas airship, built a steam-powered raft, rode a motorcycle from South Africa to London (and back years later), and driven to Persia (now Iran) in an ex-Army truck.
He was also a science correspondent of The Daily Telegraph, television presenter, documentary film-maker, and somehow found time to visit more than 70 countries and write 30 books.
The crew, inevitably described as "motley", came together after Mr Smith advertised five years ago for "OAPs" to join him on a trans-Atlantic voyage by raft, a project that was to cost him more than £60,000.
After his accident delayed his plans - and provided half the funds in compensation - he eased the age restriction.
Mr Hildred, who had read and admired Mr Smith's books as a boy, contacted him and signed up.
The most experienced sailor of the quartet and the raft's sailing master, he had previously sailed across the Atlantic, albeit in a yacht. "Anthony was a hero of mine and it was too good an opportunity to miss," he says.
They were joined by Mr Hildred's friend from his schooldays in Yorkshire, Mr Bainbridge, a rural doctor in Alberta, Canada, a sailor who describes himself as "a coastal cruiser".
The crew was completed by Mr Russell, a solicitor in Stroud, Gloucestershire, who lives near Oxford, where he and his wife Sue are members of a sailing club.
The four men knew that many things could go wrong, and that spending nearly 10 weeks on a small craft with few comforts could have been claustrophobic.
But the men insist they had no serious disagreements. Their age helped, they believe, making them more tolerant of their differences and foibles.
"Old people are more sensible than young people," Mr Smith says.
Mr Russell adds: "Older people are more mature, better at giving and taking and not causing offence."
When not steering the raft or on lookout duty, the men spent their time reading, listening to music and plays, telling stories and cooking.
The fresh food ran out after three weeks but they used the small oven and double gas hob to cook and bake bread. Even here there was competition, with Mr Bainbridge convinced that his Shepherd's Pie (made with soya and smash) had the edge over Mr Russell's pasta dishes and Mr Hildred's corned beef hash. Mr Smith was chief food preparer and senior bread-cutter.
The raft looks basic but was, in fact, carefully designed. The cabin, based on the design of small pig pens, is a curved, insulated, stainless steel hut with four solar panels and a wind turbine.
Small and cramped, it contains the oven and hob, a communications desk – including GPS, a computer for emails and an emergency distress system - and four beds, although only three were normally used at any one time.
Fourteen tubes under the platform – five of them containing drinking water – give the craft buoyancy.
The Antiki has a solar shower – a bag of water with a tube attached – on deck and two "outside loos", both known as "the loo with a view".
When the rudder broke on the third day the crew fitted a long steering oar and used the raft's traditional "guaras", four oblong pieces of wood that sit vertically through the raft's platform and can be moved up and down to guide the vessel.
The raft travelled at between one and six knots, with an average speed of 2.1 knots.
The voyage raised money for WaterAid, a charity that helps provide developing countries with access to drinking water and good sanitation.
The crew also collected 24 samples of plankton for the Sir Alister (correct) Hardy Foundation for Ocean Science, the Plymouth-based marine monitoring centre.
Mr Russell, who bears a passing resemblance to a more famous adventurer, Sir Richard Branson, says the adventure had made him realise that, "whatever your age, if you want to do something and are capable, then just go out and do it.
"Crossing the Atlantic in a raft seemed like the sort of thing that other people did. It's still hard to believe that I have done it. It will be very hard to go back to being a solicitor in Stroud after this."
The intrepid Mr Smith, meanwhile, is already thinking about taking the Antiki on another voyage. The Bahamas, the original destination of the transatlantic crossing, is a possibility. He is certainly not ready to potter around in the garden just yet.
