In their rucksacs is camera equipment and lunch. They are better equipped than Sherpa Tensing Gatso was on the top of Everest!
Often they take SatNav kit so they know to the centimetre just where they are in the world.
It seems odd that these folks would deem it totally outrageous if someone were to suggest that they walk to their shops fill their rucksacs with groceries and then walk home.
My local gym has a huge carpark. Its clients lock their cars, change into running strip and spend hours running on a conveyor belt, or pedal furiously on the cycling machine.
Why not walk or bike down to the gym in the first place ~ possibly if they did they~ would'nt need to go there in the first place!
