No! its not the all pervasive rubbish microwaved into our homes
No! its not the hours spent hypnosed under the electronic spell
No! this is the symbol of the end of our civilisation
Consider ~
Every house nearly, has one of these devices attached to it.
It is small and needs an army of techies to screw it to our abodes and drill down through the roof and ceilings to plug up our telly.
Every household has a few tools - even my 90 year old mother!
This is because no - one in our world, will cooperate with their neighbour.
Most, I suspect, do not even know their names even after living side by side for generations. We know their faces and more likely their cars but "Can I borrow your ladder?" or "Can you help me to fix a leaking tap" - Never! never in a million years.
Every family in the W€st lives alone. We only see "good neighbors" barn raising in Hollywood Westerns.
I live in a row of 40 terraced houses [rowblock- I think is the American translation]. That means 40 separate ladders, 40 tool boxes, 40 satellite dishes,
How can we even hope to co-operate at the end of the oil-fed civilisation with a lifestyle system like this.
